There is a story passed down which is that when there used to be many tigers in Inwang Mountain, a guy saw a sick white tiger drank in the grass and started to be active. He went to the spot after the tiger was gone and there was a small spring. It had been used as a mineral spring since that. It was also a famous place for archery practice in the early ages of Joseon Dynasty.
